Michael Morrissey
Position: Data Scientist
Michael Morrissey has a background in experimental physics specializing in quantum optics and high-powered laser physics. Recently he made a career change and is now working as a data scientist in an online gaming company in Prague, Czech Republic. This experience, combined with a passion for squash, led him to set up Squash Stats.
Eric Katerman
Position: Data Scientist
Eric joined Squash Stats because he is passionate about squash, data analysis, and visualizations. He believes strongly in the Squash Stats mission of “advancing squash through statistics.” He has a background in pure mathematics, several years of combined experience as a data engineer / data scientist / engineering manager, and a lifelong love of Forbes’s #1 healthiest sport, which he sometimes describes as “three-dimensional, high speed chess.” Eric lives with his family in Berkeley, California, US, where he is the head coach for the men’s squash team at Cal and serves as a member on the board of directors of NorCal Squash.
