The typical men’s pro match lasts 42 minutes and the typical women’s match 31. A 3-0 takes about half as long as a 3-2. Matches get longer round by round, and the closer two players are in the rankings, the longer they play. We look at 67,151 timed matches since 2005: the scores, the rule changes, the two tours, the longest matches ever recorded, the players in the longest matches, and what best of three changes. Results to 30 October 2026.
